How many times have you been eating and there is just a “little” left over of something from that meal?  Who is suggested to knock it out? The skinny guy? Oh no, the big guy gets the extra serving!  Great! That really helps that person. Just because your overweight your family or friends don’t need to compound the problem. Let the skinny guy have it.

Gluten free foods are popular as celiac disease  is being diagnosed more frequently.  Gluten free diets may contain high amounts of carbohydrates, sugar, fat  and calories. They also may be lower in fiber, vitamins and minerals. Be careful and read the labels on prepackaged gluten free foods. Gluten free foods are good for people with celiac disease.

Beans are a good source of protein and fiber as well being low fat. They help control blood sugar as they are low glycemic foods. They keep you sated as they have lots of fiber and the fiber helps curb cholesterol absorption. Canned or fresh are OK. Rinse canned beans to reduce the salt load.
