Adolescents need help with there weight just as adults do. Adolescents tolerate Adipex as well as adults. To keep young people from acquiring diabetes,vascular disease,hypertension and other disease should be a priority in preventive medicine. It certainly helps if one or both parents participate in the weight loss effort also. The likelihood of success increases.

Research from the American Society of Bariatric Physicians meeting that I attended last week shows that phentermine has no long term detrimental side effects and has never been shown to be addictive. There are no reported cases of valve disease from phentermine when used alone.
At the meeting of ASBP last week research was presented that showed their isa correlation between blood pressure and phentermine. When people take phentermine and lose weight their blood pressure goes DOWN. Treating the cause of their high blood pressure reduces their blood pressure. Now, that is good news!
I spent most of last week at the American Society of Bariatric Physicians meeting. Lots of good ideas and research to help people lose weight and keep it off. We are in the midst of an epidemic of weight gain, diabetes and other disease related to being overweight.
When times are tight legumes are an inexpensive source of protein. If you buy canned products, wash them off to reduce some of the salt content. About a half a cup of beans supplies the same amount if protein as one to two ounces of meat. A half a cup of beans is the recommended dose daily. Remember, they are the “musical fruit”!
Legumes [thats peas and beans] can be substituted for red meat thus cutting down on your calorie intake which helps maintain your weight once you are at the weight you want. Legumes do not have all the essential amino acids so animal protein is still needed for healthy muscles and nutrition. Remember, the fiber keeps you sated longer and helps with constipation and the prevention of colon diseases.
Protein slows stomach emptying which makes you feel full longer. A good source of protein is beans and peas. Not only are they good sources of protein they are good sources of fiber. Fiber also makes you feel full longer as the fiber keeps your intestines containing some thing. That makes them happy and you are full longer.
