The American Heart Association has lifted the restriction of eggs in your diet . Of course, you can’t go wild and eat a wazoo of eggs! However, eggs supply protein, vitamins and 1.5 grams of saturated fat. A study recently compared a breakfast of carbohydrates to a breakfast of eggs and found that the egg eaters ate 400 less calories during that 24 hour period.

Some people think to lose weight you have to snack. Think about that for a minute! If you come here and lose down to your desired weight and then begin snacking to ” control” your sugar level are you in for a surprise. Adding snacks with our program is redundant and you will gain weight. Come see how just 140 calories added to your diet daily will add pounds to your weight. Adding snacks is not a good idea.

Yale university did MRI studies on people and found that brain activity similar to alcoholics occured when food images were shown to some obese people.

Yale university studied obese people by showing them food images while doing MRI tests on their brains. Some people had brain activity just like alcoholics when they were shown booze. Not every one and that implies that not all overweight or obese people are addicted to food.

Obesity and cancer go together.

A healthy diet and exercise may reduce the risk for breast cancer. The recurrence of breast cancer was studied along with maintaining a healthy weight. It seems the recurrence rate may be lower. It appears that gaining weight increases the recurrence rate. Stable weight is defined as gaining 5% or less of prediagnosis weight.

Most people after crash dieting  so they can be in a wedding or go to the beach have a rebound. You might call it binging. The end result is gaining all the weight back and then some. You know, you’ve probably done it. We have a better plan.

Severe restrictions in food intake can cause deficiencies in nutrition. Starving or near starving sends your body into a survival mode where it burns muscle and saves fat. That is detrimental to your effort at weight loss. We exploit muscle building and preservation while burning fat. That makes sense to me. How about you?

Crash dieting makes little sense in the long run.

Generally people gain more weight after crash dieting and we do not recommend that kind of diet. Being placed on prepacked  and pre measured foods  sets people up for for a rebound weight gain most of the time. We let you buy your own food at the local stores because we teach you proper nutrition.
