Multigrain foods contain multiple kinds of grains, but not necessarily any whole grains or fiber. Made with real fruit means it has a smidgen of dehydrated fruit. that does not make it healthy for you. Less sodium means that food has less sodium than the original version…and what does that mean?

A diet with magnesium is helpful.

Magnesium helps regulate your brain serotonin level. Low levels of magnesium are linked to premenstrual syndrome and treatment resistant depression. Food with magnesium  include beans, flax seed, leaf greens,nuts and sweet potatoes. So be happy eating healthy food and lose weight too.

During the process of refining the whole grain, the fiber and much of the vitamins and minerals are removed. Magnesium which may protect you from heart disease and diabetes is removed during processing. “Enriched” flour has had the minerals and vitamins removed and then added back. Sounds like something our federal govment might do!
